Questions about recycling?  Thanks to Mary V for pointing out that takeaway cups can be recycled locally.  The 7Eleven on the corner of Lwr Heidelberg Rd and Burgundy St has a coffee cup collection point for recycling by Simply Cups (even the paper cups with a plastic lining).  

And Thanks again to Mary for the link to this article which explains how we are getting it right or wrong - apparently 'only 25% of people separate waste correctly and up to 35% of recycling goes to landfill unnecessarily'  and answers many questions.
